If the inner urge for proof does not come to rest

I would have to do more, understand more, do more, get more together. This inner urge for proof rarely arises from ambition. Usually it has grown from experiences, from expectations or from moments when recognition was conditional. There is no inner state that needs to be reached in order to be valuable. No maturity test. No emotional final stage. People are not unfinished just because they doubt, are tired or do not know how to proceed. Their own existence does not need legitimacy. It's already there.

A different way of dealing with yourself

An approach that asks: What do I need right now? And not: What should I do now? This is not a retreat from life. It's a step in.

Often then something shows up that had no place for a long time: fatigue, sadness, but also desires, limits and quiet needs. All this can be there without being evaluated.

You don’t have to show anything to be taken seriously. No particular story, no collapse, no success. It is enough that you are there, with what is right now. Enough is not a goal. It's an attitude. One that develops slowly and can be checked again and again. And yes, that is possible. Not because you do it right, but because you allow yourself to be less hard on yourself.

A silent floor under your feet

If nothing more has to be proven, something sustainable emerges. Not high, but ground. Something to stand on, even if life remains uncertain. You are you. No more and no less. And that's enough to go on from here.
