Integrative psychotherapy means seeing people as a whole. Body, thoughts, emotions and life history are in constant interaction. In the integrative work, different therapeutic approaches are linked to each other in order to accompany the individual process in the best possible way. This creates a space in which understanding, change and stabilization are possible at the same time.The aim is to identify old patterns, to enable new experiences and to develop a stable connection to themselves. This is not about diagnoses, but about relationship, resonance and development – at its own pace, with what is currently there.

How Integrative Psychotherapy Works

Integrative psychotherapy combines deep psychological, behavioral and experience-oriented methods with body-oriented and mindfulness-based elements. It uses what is felt in the moment, thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and translates it into understandable processes. This creates the opportunity to question old strategies, test new ones and sustainably stabilize the nervous system.

What is used in my practice

In my practice, I work with various psychotherapeutic procedures that complement each other depending on the concerns. These include:

• IFS (Internal Family Systems), working with inner parts
• ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), working with acceptance and values
• Hypnotherapy and hypnosis
• Compassionate Inquiry by Gabor Maté
• Trauma-sensitive and body-oriented procedures
• Grief guidance and grief therapy

All methods are combined individually. The aim is to reconcile the body and the psyche, to create access to inner resources and to open up new scope for action.
